Heavy duty indeed
I needed to secure a large runner in a high-traffic hallway. This cloth-based tape handles the foot traffic without losing its grip. The transparency is nice because you don't see it peeking out from under the rug edges.

Great for holiday decorations
Used this to hang lightweight garlands and posters on my walls without damaging the paint. It holds well and removed cleanly when I used a hairdryer to warm it up. Much better than standard double-sided tape which always leaves a gummy mess.

Perfect for pet owners
My dog loves to slide around on the rugs, pushing them everywhere. Since applying this tape, the rugs are rock solid. No more tripping hazards. The viscosity is high enough to withstand playful paws.

Finally, a rug that stays put!
I have slippery hardwood floors and my area rugs were constantly bunching up. This tape is a game changer. The grid pattern makes it easy to cut exactly where I need it, and the hold is incredibly strong. My rug hasn't moved an inch in three weeks.

Good product, tricky application
The tape itself works well once applied, but I found it hard to align straight because it sticks immediately upon contact. I recommend cutting small strips first rather than trying to lay down a long continuous line. Works great for carpet corners though.

Strong hold but requires pressure
The adhesive is very potent, perhaps even too strong for temporary setups. Make sure you press down firmly for at least 30 seconds to activate the bond. Once set, it holds my heavy entryway mat perfectly. Took off one star because it was slightly difficult to peel off the backing liner.
Q: How do I remove the backing liner? It seems stuck.
A: The liner can sometimes adhere tightly due to the high viscosity of the glue. Try using the serrated edge of the packaging box or a pair of tweezers to lift a corner of the plastic liner before peeling it away from the cloth mesh.
Q: Will this tape damage hardwood floors when removed?
A: Generally, no. The tape is designed to be removable. For best results and to ensure no residue is left behind, we recommend warming the tape gently with a hairdryer before peeling it up slowly at a 45-degree angle.
Q: Can this be used outdoors on a patio rug?
A: While the tape is water-resistant and can handle humidity, it is primarily designed for indoor use. Extreme outdoor weather conditions, such as direct prolonged sunlight or freezing temperatures, may affect the adhesive longevity over time.
Q: What is the weight limit for items hung on a wall with this tape?
A: For vertical wall applications, we recommend using multiple strips distributed evenly. A single 2-inch strip can typically hold up to 2-3 lbs depending on the wall surface texture. It is not recommended for hanging heavy mirrors or framed art.
Q: Is the tape visible through thin light-colored carpets?
A: The tape is transparent, but it does have a white grid pattern for easy cutting. On very thin or sheer light-colored rugs, the grid lines might be faintly visible. We suggest testing a small strip in an inconspicuous area first.
