Rich, complex tone
The complexity of the overtones on this guitar is fantastic. It handles rapid scale passages with ease and the separation between voices in polyphonic pieces is excellent. Highly recommended for serious players.

Solid workhorse guitar
Very consistent instrument. I use it for teaching and performance. The build quality is robust, and the case provided offers great protection. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the gloss finish shows fingerprints easily, but that's cosmetic.

Great volume, slight setup tweak needed
The volume on this instrument is startling for a classical guitar. I had to lower the action slightly at the saddle to suit my playing style, but once adjusted, it plays like a dream. The solid top is already opening up nicely after a month of daily practice.

Perfect for my conservatory audition
The lattice bracing on this Saers S9 makes an incredible difference in projection. I played this for my final exam and the judges commented on the clarity of the upper register. It responds instantly to light touch but can handle aggressive playing without breaking up.

Exceeded expectations for student model
Bought this for my advanced student who is preparing for Grade 8 exams. The tone quality rivals much more expensive luthier instruments. The lattice bracing really helps with sustain and evenness across all strings.

Amazing dynamics for the price point
I have played guitars twice this price that didn't have this level of dynamic range. The bass is deep and resonant, while the trebles sing beautifully. Setup was perfect out of the box, making it very easy to drive right away.
Q: Is the nut width suitable for players with smaller hands?
A: The standard nut width is 52mm, which is traditional for classical guitars. While it provides ample space for fingerstyle technique, players with significantly smaller hands might prefer a 48mm or 50mm narrow neck model, which we also offer in the Saers lineup.
Q: Can I swap the strings for nylon tension instead of high tension?
A: Absolutely. The guitar comes strung with high tension strings for maximum projection, but it is fully compatible with normal or low tension nylon strings. Many players adjust tension based on the specific repertoire they are performing.
Q: Does this guitar come with a humidifier?
A: The hard shell case includes a compartment for a humidifier, but the humidifier unit itself is sold separately to ensure you can choose the type that best fits your climate needs.
Q: How does the lattice bracing affect the sound compared to traditional fan bracing?
A: Lattice bracing allows the top to be thinner and more responsive, resulting in higher volume, faster attack, and extended sustain compared to traditional fan bracing. It is particularly beneficial for players seeking great dynamics and projection in larger halls.
Q: What is the warranty period for the solid top?
A: The Saers S5/S9 series comes with a comprehensive 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, including the solid spruce top. Proper care and humidity control are required to maintain warranty validity.
