Worth every penny for serious practitioners
I have been practicing calligraphy for ten years, and this Shanlian Hubi brush is among the best I have owned. The hair is resilient yet soft enough for fluid movement. It is truly a master-level tool.

Great performance, heavy handle
The brush performance is outstanding for bold strokes. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the solid jade handle makes it slightly heavier than what I am used to, but you get used to it quickly.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful jade handle
This brush is absolutely stunning. The Xiuyan jade handle feels cool and substantial in the hand, providing excellent balance. The wolf hair tip holds a great amount of ink and snaps back perfectly for precise strokes in large regular script.

Superb ink retention
