Clear display is a game changer
As someone who wears glasses, the sharpness of this screen is incredible. No more squinting at tiny dots. The QR code feature to graph functions on my phone is also a really nice bonus for studying.

Perfect for finance exams
I bought this specifically for my CFA prep. The financial calculation features are intuitive, and the battery life is excellent thanks to the solar assist. Highly recommend for any finance major.

Solid performer with a learning curve
Transitioning from the fx-991EX was interesting. The icon menu is modern but requires memorizing locations for frequent functions. Once you learn it, though, it's very fast. Great value for the price.

Essential for graduate entrance tests
Used this during my GRE preparation and the actual test. It is allowed in most standardized tests which is a huge plus. The statistical functions are easy to access and very reliable.

Great for engineering students
Handles all my calculus and linear algebra problems effortlessly. The spreadsheet function is surprisingly robust. Only giving 4 stars because the manual could be more detailed on the new icon-based navigation.

Best upgrade from the classic ES Plus
The new menu interface takes a little getting used to compared to the old models, but the high-resolution color screen makes reading complex matrices and graphs so much easier. The build quality feels premium and sturdy.
