Good, but needed setup
The guitar sounds good once set up properly. Out of the box, the action was a bit high for my liking. After a professional setup, it plays like a dream. Just factor in that extra cost.

Beautiful aesthetics and sound
The open pore finish feels great under my arm and looks stunning. It projects well without an amp, but when plugged in, the tuner preamp is very convenient. Highly recommend for folk styles.

Perfect size for smaller players
I have smaller hands and often struggle with dreadnoughts. This alto body shape is incredibly comfortable to hold and play. The spruce top gives it a bright, clear tone that cuts through nicely in a mix.

Exceeded expectations
I was hesitant about the sapele back and sides, but it produces a warm mid-range that balances the brightness of the spruce top perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

Great value acoustic-electric
For the price point, the build quality is impressive. The rosewood accents look beautiful. The electronics are basic but functional for home recording. Only wish the strings were slightly higher quality out of the box.

Solid everyday guitar
Bought this as a travel guitar that doesn't sacrifice too much tone. The shorter scale length makes bending strings easier. It stays in tune remarkably well after the initial stretch period.
Q: What type of batteries does the TPU2T preamp require?
A: The Ibanez TPU2T tuner preamp requires one CR2032 lithium battery, which is usually included with the guitar upon purchase.
Q: Does this guitar come with a gig bag or hard case?
A: This model typically ships without a case. We recommend purchasing a compatible grand concert sized gig bag separately for protection.
Q: Can I change the strings to lighter gauge easily?
A: Absolutely. The bridge pins allow for easy string changes. Many players switch to .011 or .010 gauges on this model for even easier playability.
Q: Where is this guitar manufactured?
A: The Ibanez ACFS380BT is manufactured in Indonesia at our dedicated facility ensuring high quality control standards for the Artwood series.
Q: Is the neck profile suitable for fingerstyle playing?
A: Yes, the Okoume neck features a comfortable profile that many fingerstyle players prefer due to the slightly narrower nut width and smooth finish.
