Professional grade quality
Used this for a recording session last week. The clarity of the high notes and the sustain on the lower strings are exactly what we needed for authentic Henan opera tracks.

Solid traditional instrument
Very happy with the purchase. The case provided is decent, though I wish it was hard-shell for travel. The instrument itself plays beautifully and looks majestic on stage.

Exceptional resonance for Yuju Opera
This Quhu has a incredibly rich and projecting tone perfect for our local theater troupe. The rosewood body adds a warmth that cheaper instruments lack. Highly recommended for serious performers.

Great sound, needs setup
The instrument itself is fantastic with deep bass response. It arrived slightly out of tune and needed bridge adjustment, which is normal for wooden instruments, but once set up, it sings.

Beautiful craftsmanship
I bought this for my ethnomusicology collection, but the sound is so good I actually play it daily. The finish is flawless and the strings hold tune remarkably well.

Worth every penny
As a collector of Asian string instruments, this stands out. The wood grain is stunning, and the construction feels very solid. It produces a loud, clear voice without being harsh.
Q: How do I maintain the rosewood finish?
A: Simply wipe the instrument with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme humidity changes to preserve the lacquer and wood integrity.
Q: Does this instrument come pre-strung?
A: Yes, the Quhu comes fully strung with high-quality steel strings ready to play upon arrival, though minor tuning adjustments may be needed due to shipping.
Q: What is the return policy if the wood has cracks?
A: We inspect all instruments before shipping. If you receive an item with damage or cracks, please contact us within 48 hours for a full replacement or refund.
Q: Can beginners use this model or is it too advanced?
A: While labeled professional, beginners can certainly use it. However, the action might be slightly higher than student models, so a teacher's help with initial setup is advisable.
Q: Is a bow included with this zither?
A: No, the Quhu is a plucked zither instrument and does not use a bow. It is played by plucking the strings with plectrums or fingers.
