Beautiful presentation
The off-white color is very authentic and pleasing to the eye. My only minor critique is that the packaging could be more protective to prevent corner bending during shipping, but the paper itself is flawless.

Perfect for traditional fan paintings
The square outside and round inside design is exactly what I needed for my traditional Chinese fan art projects. The paper thickness prevents ink from bleeding through, and the texture holds brush strokes beautifully.

Great quality, slightly stiff at first
Excellent cardstock for calligraphy practice. It feels a bit stiff when you first open the pack, but it softens nicely once you start working with wet ink. The circular area is well-defined.

Consistent thickness throughout
Very impressed with the consistency of the thickened paper. No weak spots or thin areas. It handles heavy ink loads without warping, making it perfect for bold seal script styles.

A: The paper is cut into a square shape with a circular textured surface area; there are no printed guide lines. The boundary is defined by the texture change, leaving a blank canvas for your art.
Q: Can these cards be framed directly without mounting?
A: While they are thickened cardstock, we recommend light mounting on a backing board for long-term preservation and to prevent curling over time before framing.
Q: Is this paper suitable for watercolor techniques as well as ink?
A: Yes, the thickened raw Xuan paper can handle light watercolor washes, though it is primarily optimized for traditional black ink calligraphy and Sumi-e painting.
