Very forgiving paper for someone just starting out. It allows for correction attempts without tearing easily. The grid layout is very traditional.

Q: Is this paper suitable for liquid ink or only ink sticks?
A: This semi-sized Xuan paper works wonderfully with both bottled liquid ink and traditionally ground ink sticks. It offers balanced absorption for either method.
