Perfect for daily practice sessions
The grid lines are printed clearly in a traditional red that doesn't bleed when wet. The semi-sized texture holds ink well without spreading too much, making it ideal for practicing Regular Script.

Beautiful color and texture
The antiqued yellow color gives my practice work a classic look immediately. It feels much more expensive than it is. Highly recommend for anyone moving from plain white paper to traditional Xuan.

Great quality for the price
I use these for my university calligraphy course. The paper feels authentic and has a nice tooth to it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the sheets were slightly curled upon arrival, but they flattened out quickly.

A: Each grid square within the four-grid layout measures approximately 6cm x 6cm, providing ample space for standard character practice while maintaining proper proportion.
Q: Is this paper made from 100% pure mulberry bark?
A: This specific Liupintang series uses a premium blend of bamboo and sandalwood pulp to achieve the semi-sized characteristic ideal for practice. It is not 100% mulberry bark, which is typically reserved for fully sized artistic Xuan paper.
