Great content, brush could be softer
The copybook selections like the Orchid Pavilion are classic choices. The paper absorbs ink well without bleeding too much. My only critique is that the included brush is slightly stiffer than I prefer for fluid strokes, but still usable.

Authentic Ouyang style practice
The reproduction of the original tablets is very clear. It helps immensely to see the subtle variations in stroke thickness. Highly recommend for anyone serious about learning traditional Regular Script.

Good for adults, maybe hard for kids

Excellent value for the price
You get a lot in this package. Having both the Preface to the Prince of Teng's Pavilion and the Orchid Pavilion in one set is fantastic. The Xuan paper quality exceeds expectations for a beginner kit.

A: Since these are classical calligraphy works (Ouyang style), the characters are presented in their traditional forms as they appear in the original historical tablets.
