A: The black oxide finish is durable for normal installation. However, excessive force or improper tooling can cause minor chipping, which does not affect the structural integrity of the washer.

Q: What is the thickness of the M8 washer?

A: The M8 spring lock washer typically has a thickness of approximately 2.0mm, adhering to standard metric specifications for Grade 8.8 washers.

Q: Are these washers suitable for outdoor use?

A: While they have a black oxide coating, they are best suited for indoor or protected environments. For harsh outdoor conditions, we recommend stainless steel options.

Q: Do you sell these in individual sizes or only mixed kits?

A: You can select specific sizes (M5, M6, M8, etc.) individually from the dropdown menu during checkout. We do not currently offer mixed size kits.

Q: Can these be reused after removal?

A: Spring lock washers are generally designed for single use as they may lose their tension properties after being compressed and released. We recommend replacing them during reassembly.
