Solid construction
Very well made with solid wood. The sound projection is impressive without being too harsh. I deducted one star only because the included mallets were a bit lighter than I preferred, but the drum itself is perfect.

Great quality, heavy weight
The craftsmanship is excellent, and the cowhide feels very durable. Just be aware that it is quite heavy, so make sure you have a sturdy stand or wall mount. The tone is powerful.

Stunning Visuals and Deep Sound

A centerpiece for any stage

Exceeded expectations
I was worried about ordering such a large instrument online, but it arrived safely packaged. The cowhide head is tight and produces a rich, booming sound. It's truly a war drum in every sense.
Q: Can this drum be mounted on a standard drum stand?
A: Due to its large 24-inch diameter and specific shape, it is best used with the included wall mount bracket or a specialized floor stand designed for large concert or temple drums. Standard snare stands will not fit.
Q: How do I care for the cowhide head in humid conditions?
A: In high humidity, the cowhide may loosen slightly, lowering the pitch. You can tighten the tension rods to compensate. Store the drum in a climate-controlled room away from direct sunlight and extreme moisture changes.
Q: Is the dragon design painted on or is it a decal?
A: The dragon motif is hand-painted and sealed with a high-gloss lacquer finish, ensuring durability and a premium look that will not peel like a decal might.
