Great Sound, Heavy Case
The viola itself is a 5-star product with amazing depth of sound. I only deducted one star because the included case is quite heavy, though very protective. The instrument itself is flawless.

Professional Quality at a Fair Price
I have played on violas costing three times as much that did not resonate this well. The setup was excellent out of the box, and the response in the lower register is incredibly smooth.

Exceeded My Expectations
As a luthier myself, I am very critical of handmade instruments. This viola shows exceptional grain selection and arching. The balance between the A and C strings is remarkable.

My New Solo Instrument
I bought this for solo repertoire, and it cuts through the orchestra beautifully. The tiger stripes catch the stage lights wonderfully. Highly recommend for advancing students or pros.

Stunning Visuals and Rich Tone

Beautiful Instrument, Needs Break-in
Gorgeous instrument with a powerful sound. It felt a bit stiff initially, but after two weeks of playing, the wood has opened up significantly. The varnish feels authentic and not too thick.
