Exceptional tone for the price
I bought the 16-inch model for my daughter who is advancing rapidly. The sound is warm and resonant, far better than other laminated violas we tried. The ebony fingerboard feels smooth and professional.

Solid choice for adults returning to music
I haven't played in twenty years, and this viola made getting back into it enjoyable. The setup was decent out of the box, though I had my luthier do a final tweak. Very happy with the purchase.

Perfect upgrade from rental

Beautiful finish and sound

Great handcrafted instrument
The craftsmanship is evident in every detail. It took a day to settle after shipping, but now it plays beautifully. The only minor issue was the bridge needed slight adjustment, which is normal for shipped instruments.
