Good but adapter needed
The valve itself is great, but I had to buy a separate adapter to fit my older American hoses. Once connected, it works fine, just wish compatibility was broader out of the box.

Great quality but pricey
It works exactly as described and feels very durable. I only gave it 4 stars because it is more expensive than local brands, but the quality difference is noticeable.

No more leaking connections
I replaced all my old connectors with these GARDENA valves. The seal is tight, and the ability to regulate water flow right at the source is a game changer for watering delicate plants.

Durable and reliable
I have been using GARDENA products for years. This switch valve maintains consistent pressure and the plastic does not degrade in the sun like cheaper alternatives.
Q: Is this compatible with standard 5/8 inch garden hoses?
A: Yes, this regulator is designed to work seamlessly with 13mm (1/2 inch) and 15mm (5/8 inch) hoses using the GARDENA Quick Connect system.
Q: What is the maximum water pressure this can handle?
A: The valve is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 12 Bar (approximately 174 PSI), making it suitable for most residential water systems.
Q: Does it come with a warranty?
A: Yes, all genuine GARDENA products come with a 25-year manufacturer warranty covering material and production defects.
Q: How do I adjust the flow rate?
A: Simply rotate the grey control ring on the valve. Turning it clockwise reduces the flow, while counter-clockwise increases it to maximum capacity.
Q: Can this be left outside during winter?
A: While the materials are UV-resistant, we recommend draining the water and storing the valve indoors during freezing temperatures to prevent damage from ice expansion.
