Good quality, slightly tight lid

Overall a great product for the price. The valve itself is excellent quality brass. The only minor issue is that the lid on the box was a bit stiff to open initially, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Q: Can this handle hot water applications?

A: This product is designed specifically for cold water irrigation and landscaping use. We do not recommend it for hot water systems as temperatures exceeding 60°C may affect the plastic box integrity.
