Great value for money
For the price, you get a very robust bearing. The dimensions are accurate according to the spec sheet. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a little longer than expected.

Good quality, slightly tight tolerance
The build quality is excellent and the bronze feels very durable. They were a bit tight going into the housing initially, but after a short run-in period, they operate smoothly.

A: While they are oil-impregnated and resistant to moisture, continuous submersion in water is not recommended as it may wash out the lubricant over time. They are best suited for humid or occasional wet environments.
Q: What is the maximum shaft hardness recommended for this bushing?
A: We recommend a shaft hardness of at least 200 HB (Brinell) to ensure optimal wear resistance and longevity of the composite lining.
Q: Do I need to re-grease these bearings periodically?
A: No, the SF1-160100 is designed to be maintenance-free. The oil-impregnated composite material provides sufficient lubrication throughout its service life under normal operating conditions.
Q: Can these be cut to a shorter length if needed?
A: Yes, they can be cut to size using a fine-tooth hacksaw or a bandsaw. Please ensure the edges are deburred smoothly after cutting to prevent damage to the shaft.
