Good value clone
Works well with PLA and PETG. The threading fits my E3D Volcano perfectly. Just make sure to tighten it while hot to avoid leaks.
Q: How do I clean the split channels if they get clogged?
A: Use the included cleaning needle gently on each channel while the nozzle is heated. For stubborn clogs, a cold pull method with nylon filament is effective.
Q: Does the three-hole design affect layer adhesion?
A: The three-hole design improves material flow and can actually enhance layer bonding at higher speeds, provided your temperatures are correctly calibrated.
Q: Can I use abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber with this brass nozzle?
A: We do not recommend using abrasive filaments with brass nozzles as they will wear down the orifice quickly. Please consider a hardened steel option for such materials.
Q: What is the maximum recommended print speed with this nozzle?
A: While dependent on your specific printer setup, users typically achieve reliable results between 80mm/s and 150mm/s with PLA filament.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend?
A: No, this nozzle is specifically designed for the E3D Volcano hotend due to its longer thermal zone and M6 threading. It will not fit the V6.
