Saved my printer!
My old heater cartridge died suddenly. This was a direct fit and got me back to printing within an hour. Excellent product.
Q: Can I use this for temperatures above 300 degrees?
A: While the element can reach high temperatures, we recommend operating within standard PLA/ABS ranges (up to 300°C) for longevity and safety. Higher temperatures depend on your specific printer controller.
Q: Is this compatible with a 12V power supply system?
A: Yes, we offer a specific 12V 40W model. Please ensure you select the 12V option from the dropdown menu before purchasing.
Q: Does this come with thermal paste?
A: The package includes two thermal pads to ensure efficient heat transfer between the heater and the heater block.
Q: How do I know if I need the single-head or double-head version?
A: Most standard 3D printers like Creality and Prusa use single-head cartridges. Double-head units are rare. If your old part has wires coming out of only one end, you need this single-head version.
Q: What is the length of the heated section?
A: The total dimensions are 6mm in diameter by 20mm in length. The entire rod is the heating element.
