Perfect fit for my hotend upgrade
This heating rod fits perfectly into my 3D printer block. The 24V version heats up quickly and maintains temperature very steadily. Great quality for the price.

High quality construction
The stainless steel sheath feels durable and robust. No signs of wear after a month of continuous printing. Highly recommended.

Consistent heat distribution
I tested this with a thermal camera, and the heat distribution along the 20mm length is very uniform. Excellent for consistent extrusion.

Works well for 12V systems
Bought the 12V model for my portable printer setup. It draws power efficiently and gets hot enough for PLA and PETG printing.

Reliable replacement part
My old heater burned out, and this was an exact replacement. Installation was straightforward, and it reached target temps within seconds.

Good performance, slightly long lead wire
The heating element works as expected with no issues. My only minor complaint is that the wire lead was a bit longer than I needed, but it was easy to manage.
Q: Can I use the 24V version on a 12V power supply?
A: You can, but it will only produce about 25% of its rated power (10W instead of 40W), resulting in significantly slower heating times. We recommend matching voltage.
Q: Does this come with a thermistor?
A: No, this package includes only the single-end heating rod. You will need to use your existing thermistor or purchase one separately.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this rod can reach?
A: While the rod itself can withstand very high temperatures, the actual max temp depends on your thermostat controller. It is commonly used for setups up to 300°C.
Q: How long is the wire lead coming out of the single end?
A: The wire leads are approximately 1 meter (3.3 feet) long, giving you plenty of room for routing within your printer frame.
Q: Is this compatible with E3D V6 hotends?
A: Yes, the 6x20mm dimensions are standard for many hotends including the E3D V6, provided your system supports 12V or 24V input.
