Great value, minor connectivity issues

For the price, the accuracy seems spot on compared to my old analog gauge. Occasionally it takes a few seconds to sync with the phone app, but once connected, the data history graphs are very useful.

Q: Does this device work with Apple HomeKit?

A: Currently, the Qingping Thermohygrometer Lite connects via the Qingping App using Bluetooth. It does not natively support Apple HomeKit, but you can view data within the dedicated app on your iPhone.

Q: What is the maximum distance for Bluetooth connection?

A: In an open environment without obstacles, the Bluetooth 5.0 connection can reach up to 30 meters (approx. 98 feet). Walls and furniture may reduce this range indoors.

Q: Can I view historical data from previous months?

A: Yes, the Qingping App stores historical temperature and humidity data. You can view daily, weekly, and monthly charts to track environmental changes over time as long as the device syncs regularly.

Q: Does it alert me if the temperature freezes?

A: Yes, you can set custom temperature and humidity thresholds in the Qingping App. If the sensor detects values outside your set range, you will receive a push notification on your smartphone.

Q: Is the battery replaceable?

A: Yes, the device uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery which is user-replaceable. The battery compartment can be opened with a small coin or a flat tool.
