Great upgrade for my old Telecaster
The copper core pots feel smooth and the wiring was pre-soldered perfectly. Saved me hours of work in the shop.

Good value but knob is loose
Everything works well electrically, but the raised knob fit a bit loosely on the shaft. A little tape fixed it though.

Silent operation
No crackling noises when turning the volume. The shielding on the plate is decent too. Highly recommend for DIYers.
Q: Is the switch a 3-way or 4-way selector?
A: This kit includes a standard 3-way blade switch. We do sell 4-way upgrades separately if needed.
Q: Can I use this with humbucker pickups?
A: While physically compatible, we recommend 500k pots for humbuckers. These 250k pots are optimized for single coils.
Q: Does this come with a ground wire?
A: Yes, the pre-wired plate includes all necessary grounding connections and a main ground lead.
Q: What is the resistance value of the potentiometers?
A: The kit typically includes 250k ohm pots suitable for single-coil pickups, which is standard for this style.
Q: Is this compatible with a Fender Standard Telecaster?
A: Yes, this control plate is designed to fit standard TL-style guitar bodies including most Fender Telecasters.
