Good but pricey
The pens work well and the colors are lovely, especially the red and blue. However, they are a bit more expensive than local alternatives. You are paying for the import status.

Authentic Sakura quality
As someone who has used Sakura pens for years, this imported set meets all expectations. The pigment ink dries instantly and does not smear under erasers or markers.

Perfect for Manga Inking

Great quality, specific color set
The build quality is excellent as expected from Japanese imports. I wish the set included black, but the cool grey and dark brown are unique shades that add great depth to technical drawings.

Excellent for detail work

Q: Are these pens safe to use on photo paper?
A: Yes, these fineliners are safe for most photo papers and coated surfaces. However, we recommend testing on a small corner first as drying times may vary slightly on non-porous surfaces.
Q: Is the 'Cool Grey' color similar to a standard pencil shade?
A: The Cool Grey is a neutral tone that resembles a 2B to 4B graphite pencil but with the consistency and permanence of ink. It is excellent for shading without the shine of graphite.
Q: What is the shelf life of the ink if I don't use them often?
A: If stored horizontally with caps tightly sealed in a cool, dry place, these pens can last for several years without drying out due to their air-tight cap design.
Q: Do these bleed through standard 80gsm printer paper?
A: While the ink is formulated to minimize bleed-through, very thin 80gsm paper may show some ghosting. We recommend using paper with a weight of 100gsm or higher for best results.
Q: Can I refill these pens once the ink runs out?
A: No, the Sakura Colored Fineliner pens are designed as disposable units to maintain consistent ink flow and tip integrity. They are not refillable.
