Great quality, slightly stiff at first
Very well made rope. It was a bit stiff initially but softened up nicely after the first few uses with hot water.

Excellent value
For the price, you get a handmade item that looks expensive. It ties easily and holds firm.

Good but color varies
The rope works well, but the color was slightly lighter than shown in the photos. Still functional though.

Essential accessory
I didn't realize how much I needed this until I bought it. Prevents the lid from sliding off when pouring. Highly recommend.
Q: Does this come in different colors?
A: Currently, we only offer the traditional earth brown to match classic Zisha clay, but we are considering more colors in the future.
Q: Will this rope melt if it touches boiling water?
A: No, the natural cotton material is heat resistant and safe for use with boiling water during tea brewing.
Q: How do I attach this to the lid and handle?
A: Simply loop one end through the lid knob and the other around the handle, then tie a secure knot. Instructions are included in the package.
Q: Is this suitable for glass teapots as well?
A: Absolutely! While designed for Zisha pots, it works wonderfully with glass, ceramic, and porcelain teapots too.
Q: Can I cut this to make it shorter for a small teapot?
A: Yes, you can trim the excess length. We recommend sealing the cut end with a tiny drop of clear glue to prevent fraying.
