Crystal clear and sturdy

Great protection, requires heat sealer
The quality of the film is top-notch. Just note that you need a specific heat sealer to close them properly; they don't have a self-adhesive strip. Once sealed, they are completely airtight.

Good size variety

Excellent quality film
As a stamp collector, I need materials that won't degrade over time. These Melinex 516 sleeves are stiff enough to provide support but clear enough to see every detail of the stamps without removing them.

A: Melinex 516 is made from polyester (PET), which is technically recyclable where facility capabilities exist. However, for archival purposes, we recommend reusing them whenever possible.
Q: Can these sleeves be opened again after heat sealing?
A: Once heat-sealed, the bond is permanent to ensure maximum archival integrity. We recommend testing your seal on a dummy item before sealing your valuable documents.
Q: Is this film safe for color photographs?
A: Yes, Melinex 516 is chemically inert and safe for both black-and-white and color photographs. It will not cause fading or chemical reactions over time.
