Perfect for my home studio

Great value, minor assembly quirks

Exceeded expectations

Good but heavy
The build quality is solid, which makes it stable, but it is heavier than I expected. Not ideal if you plan to move it around frequently between gigs.

Solid performer
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The black finish looks sleek on camera, and the tripod legs open wide enough to be very stable on uneven floors.
Q: What is the minimum height of the stand?
A: When the center column is lowered completely, the minimum height is approximately 28 inches from the floor to the top of the thread adapter.
Q: Can I attach a ring light to this stand instead of a microphone?
A: While the thread size is standard, this stand is specifically engineered for microphones. Using it for a ring light may void the warranty if the weight distribution causes damage, as ring lights often have different center-of-gravity requirements.
Q: Does it come with a shock mount?
A: No, this package includes only the stand, boom arm, and 5/8" to 3/8" thread adapter. Shock mounts must be purchased separately.
Q: Can this stand hold a Shure SM7B microphone?
A: Yes, the stand supports up to 4.4 lbs, and the SM7B weighs approximately 1.69 lbs, so it is well within the safe weight limit.
Q: Is the base heavy enough to prevent tipping when the boom is fully extended?
