Perfect for teaching kids strategy
Bought this for my 8-year-old son who is learning Chinese Chess at school. The magnetic pieces are strong enough to stay in place but easy for small hands to move. The wood quality is excellent for the price.

Sturdy and well-made
I was worried about the magnets being weak, but they hold the pieces securely even if the board is tilted slightly. The solid wood feels premium and not like cheap plastic. Highly recommend for elementary students.

Great travel companion
The foldable design makes it incredibly easy to pack in a backpack. We took it on a road trip and played in the car without pieces sliding off. Only minor issue is the instruction booklet could be more detailed for beginners.
