Low noise output
Impressed by how low the noise floor is on the analog output. Makes filtering in software much easier. Delivery was fast too.

Reliable for classroom projects
We bought ten of these for our electronics workshop. They are robust and safe for students to use when measuring mains voltage indirectly. Great purchase.

Good value, needs calibration
The build quality is solid. You do need to calibrate it in your code to get precise readings, but that is expected for this type of sensor. Works as described.

Does the job well
Using this to monitor solar inverter output. It handles the fluctuations well. Only wish the terminal blocks were slightly larger for thicker wires.

Excellent accuracy
Compared readings against a multimeter and the deviation was negligible after basic calibration. Very happy with this sensor module.
Q: What microcontroller boards are compatible with this sensor?
A: It is compatible with any board that has an analog input pin, such as Arduino Uno, Nano, ESP8266, and ESP32.
Q: Can this module measure DC voltage?
A: No, the ZMPT101B is designed specifically for Single-Phase AC voltage measurement only.
Q: Is isolation provided for safety?
A: Yes, the module uses a voltage transformer which provides galvanic isolation between the high-voltage AC input and the low-voltage output side.
Q: What is the maximum current this module can handle?
A: This is a voltage sensor, not a current sensor. It measures potential difference up to 250V AC; current draw from the circuit being measured is negligible.
Q: Does it come with a library for Arduino?
A: We do not provide a proprietary library, but there are many open-source libraries available online specifically for the ZMPT101B that work perfectly.
