Good value, works as expected
Solid build quality for the price. The magnet is strong enough to trigger the switch reliably through a thin wooden door. Would buy again.

Exceeded expectations
Bought a pack for a robotics project involving limit switches. They are durable and the detection distance is consistent across all units.

Great addition to security setup
Integrated this into a custom window alarm system. It reacts instantly when the magnet is moved away. Very satisfied with the performance.

Perfect for home automation projects
I used these sensors to monitor my garage door status. The magnetic range is impressive, and the signal is very stable. Easy to wire up to my ESP32.

Compact and functional
The size is perfect for tight spaces inside junction boxes. Only minor issue is the screw terminals are a bit small, but manageable with fine wires.

Reliable and responsive
No bounce issues detected in my code. The module has a built-in pull-up resistor which saved me some soldering time. Highly recommended for beginners.
Q: Does it come with the magnet needed to trigger it?
A: Yes, every package includes one matching magnet along with the sensor module and mounting screws.
Q: What is the maximum gap distance between the sensor and the magnet?
A: The typical actuation distance is between 10mm and 15mm, depending on the strength of the magnet and any intervening materials.
Q: Does this module work with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the Zave Reed Switch Sensor Module operates comfortably within the 3.3V to 5V DC range, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Is the output normally open or normally closed?
A: This specific model features a Normally Open (NO) configuration, meaning the circuit closes only when the magnet is near.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: While the internal reed switch is sealed, the PCB and terminals are not waterproof. We recommend installing it inside a weatherproof enclosure for outdoor use.
