Perfect for DIY Projects
I used this sensor module to build a custom coffee scale. The signal is stable and the calibration process was straightforward using an HX803B amplifier. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Solid component
The aluminum alloy body feels premium. Output is linear across the range I tested (0-10kg). Just ensure you have a good ADC to read the analog signal effectively.

Excellent sensitivity

Robust and Reliable
We integrated ten of these into our student robotics kits. They have survived drops and heavy use without losing accuracy. Great build quality for the price point.
Q: How do I calibrate this sensor for accurate readings?
A: Calibration requires two points: zero load and a known standard weight. You must adjust the gain and offset in your code or amplifier software based on the raw values read from these two states.
Q: Is the wiring color code standard across all batches?
A: Generally, Red is E+, Black is E-, Green is A+, and White is A-. However, please verify with the specific datasheet included in your package as variations can occur between manufacturers.
Q: Can this be used outdoors in the rain?
A: The sensor has an IP65 rating, which protects against dust and low-pressure water jets. However, we recommend enclosing the electronic connections for prolonged outdoor exposure.
Q: What is the maximum voltage I can apply to the excitation pins?
A: The recommended excitation voltage is between 5V and 12V DC. Applying voltage higher than 15V may damage the strain gauges permanently.
Q: Does this module come with an amplifier board included?
A: No, the YZC131 is the raw load cell sensor module only. You will need to purchase a separate amplifier like the HX711 or HX803B to interface it with a microcontroller.
