Great for learning projects
Used this for a university robotics assignment. It made measuring motor speed very simple. The only minor issue is that the included wires were a bit short for my setup.

Perfect for my RC car project
This sensor module worked flawlessly right out of the box. I used it to measure wheel rotation speed on my custom smart car build, and the readings are consistent and accurate.
Q: Can this sensor work with a 3.3V microcontroller like ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates within a wide voltage range (4.5V-24V), but since the output is open collector, you can easily interface it with 3.3V logic by using a pull-up resistor to 3.3V.
Q: What is the maximum switching frequency of this sensor?
A: The 3144 Hall switch typically supports switching frequencies up to 20kHz, which is sufficient for most motor speed measurement applications.
Q: Is the output active high or active low?
A: The output is active low. When a magnetic south pole is detected near the sensing face, the output transistor turns on, pulling the line to ground.
Q: Does this module come with a magnet included?
A: No, this package includes only the sensor module. You will need to provide your own magnet for operation.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in the rain?
A: The sensor chip itself is weather-resistant, but the bare PCB module is not waterproof. We recommend enclosing it in a protective case if used in wet environments.
