Solid performance
Works well for fresh water applications. I haven't tested it with chemicals, but for plain water level sensing, it is excellent.

Easy to interface
Documentation could be better, but the pinout is standard. Got it working with a Raspberry Pi ADC in under an hour.

Great for student projects
We bought ten of these for our robotics competition. All units performed consistently. Highly recommended for educational use.
Q: Can I use this for measuring fuel levels?
A: This sensor is optimized for water and non-corrosive liquids. We cannot guarantee compatibility or safety with flammable fuels or aggressive solvents.
Q: Does this module come with waterproof cabling?
A: The module itself is designed for contact with liquids, but the header pins are not waterproof. You should apply conformal coating or use a waterproof enclosure for the connections.
Q: Is a separate library required for Arduino?
A: No specific library is needed. Since it outputs an analog voltage, you can simply use the standard analogRead() function in the Arduino IDE.
Q: Can this sensor measure saltwater levels?
A: While it can physically measure saltwater, prolonged exposure may cause corrosion on non-stainless parts. We recommend rinsing with fresh water after use or using a protective barrier for long-term marine applications.
Q: What is the maximum depth this 40kPa sensor can measure?
A: 40 kPa corresponds to approximately 4 meters (about 13 feet) of water column depth. Please ensure your application does not exceed this pressure limit.
