Reliable in harsh conditions

Great value for dual-axis
Compared to other brands, the SIS426 offers excellent value. The dual-axis capability saves us space on the PCB, and the serial output integrates easily with our PLC. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Solid performance, minor cable issue
The sensor itself works great for our solar tracker project. Accuracy is as advertised. I deducted one star because the included cable was a bit short for our specific enclosure setup, but that's an easy fix.

Perfect for industrial automation
We integrated this sensor into our conveyor belt monitoring system. The RS485 communication is stable over long distances, and the angle readings are incredibly precise. Setup was straightforward with the provided documentation.
Q: How do I calibrate the zero point if my installation surface isn't perfectly level?
A: You can perform a software zero-calibration by sending a specific command sequence via the serial interface while the sensor is in your desired 'zero' position. Instructions are in Section 4.2 of the datasheet.
Q: What is the maximum baud rate supported?
A: The module supports baud rates ranging from 2400 to 115200 bps. The default setting upon shipment is usually 9600 bps.
Q: Does this sensor support Modbus RTU protocol over RS485?
A: Yes, the SIS426 supports standard Modbus RTU protocol when configured for RS485 communication. Please refer to the user manual for the register map.
Q: Can this be used for dynamic inclination measurement on moving vehicles?
A: The SIS426 is primarily designed for static or quasi-static measurements. For high-frequency dynamic applications involving significant G-forces, please contact us for a recommendation on our MEMS gyroscope-accelerometer fusion sensors.
Q: Is there a mounting bracket included in the box?
A: The package includes the sensor module and a connection cable. Mounting screws are provided, but a specific L-bracket is sold separately if required for your installation.
