Exceeded expectations

Compact and reliable
Needed something small for a custom gimbal setup. The WT1-IMU fits perfectly and provides smooth inclination data. No drift issues observed over a 2-hour test run.

Perfect for my balancing robot project
This sensor is incredibly accurate and easy to integrate with Arduino. The serial output is clean, and the angle readings are stable even during movement. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Solid performance in industrial setting
We deployed ten of these in a prototype conveyor system. They have held up well against vibration. Only giving 4 stars because the cable connector feels a bit fragile.

Easy to use for beginners
As someone new to IMUs, I found this module very forgiving. The wiring is straightforward, and there are plenty of example codes online that work with this specific model.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
The hardware quality is excellent for the price. It took me a little while to figure out the specific baud rate settings as the manual was brief, but once configured, it works flawlessly.
Q: What is the default baud rate for this sensor?
A: The factory default baud rate is 9600 bps, but it can be configured to 115200 or other standard rates using our configuration software.
Q: Can this be used outdoors in rain?
A: This module is not waterproof. It should be enclosed in a protective case if used in outdoor environments where it might be exposed to moisture.
Q: Is there a Python library available for Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, since it uses standard UART, you can use the pySerial library in Python. We provide a sample script on our GitHub repository for reading the data.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: The package includes the sensor module and a pin header strip. Mounting screws are not included, but the holes are standard M2 size.
Q: Does this module support I2C communication?
A: No, the WT1-IMU specifically uses TTL Serial (UART) communication. If you require I2C, please check our other MPU6050 variants.
