Good precision, easy setup

Solid performance

Excellent value for money
Compared to other industrial sensors, this offers great performance at a fraction of the cost. The thermal type means no moving parts to wear out, which is a huge plus.
Q: Is calibration required before first use?
A: The sensor comes factory-calibrated. You can start using it immediately after wiring and power-up. Recalibration is typically only needed after several years of operation.
Q: Can this measure wind direction as well?
A: No, this is a single-axis thermal anemometer designed strictly for wind speed measurement. It does not detect wind direction.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for RS485 connection?
A: For reliable communication at standard baud rates (e.g., 9600), you can extend the cable up to 1200 meters using twisted pair shielded cable, provided proper termination resistors are used.
Q: What is the power consumption of this module?
A: The typical power consumption is less than 0.5W at 24V DC, making it suitable for battery-powered or solar-powered remote stations.
Q: Does this sensor support both ASCII and RTU modes?
A: This specific model supports MODBUS RTU mode only. Please ensure your master device is configured for RTU communication.
