Good value, works as expected
The sensor responds quickly when the magnet is moved away. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the included magnet is quite small, but it works fine for thin doors.

Easy to integrate
Plug and play with standard microcontrollers. The logic is straightforward: HIGH when closed, LOW when open (or vice versa depending on wiring). Great for learning interrupts.

Perfect for home security projects

Solid component for classrooms

Reliable and sturdy
Been using this in a prototype for a window sensor for two weeks now. No false triggers yet. The soldering points are clear and easy to work with if you need to add wires.
