Perfect for Qwiic ecosystems
This module plugged straight into my SparkFun RedBoard without any soldering. The 16-bit resolution provides incredibly smooth readings for my automatic display brightness project. Highly recommended for rapid prototyping.

Solid performance for commercial use
We deployed these in a batch of smart home devices. They are consistent and reliable. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the breakout board is slightly larger than expected for ultra-compact enclosures.

High precision and easy integration
I've used several ambient light sensors, and the VEML7700 stands out for its wide dynamic range. It handles direct sunlight and dim indoor lighting equally well. The Qwiic connector is a huge time saver.

Great sensor, minor library issue
The hardware is excellent and very compact. I had a small hiccup finding the right library for my specific microcontroller, but once configured, the accuracy is impressive even in low light conditions.

Beginner friendly
As someone new to I2C sensors, this was very easy to set up. The documentation linked in the product description was clear, and I had data streaming to my serial monitor within minutes.
