Perfect for Arduino alarms
This little buzzer is loud enough for my project alerts. The high-level trigger works exactly as described with my Uno board. Very easy to wire up.

Solid component
Does exactly what an active buzzer should do. Just apply power to the signal pin and it beeps. Wish it came with header pins pre-soldered.

Reliable and loud

Works flawlessly with ESP32
No issues running this off the 3.3V pin on my ESP32. The tone is stable and doesn't fluctuate with voltage drops. Highly recommended.

Good value, compact size
Bought a pack of ten for our workshop. They are consistent in volume and pitch. One unit had a slightly loose pin, but the rest were perfect.

Great for learning electronics
Used this for my final year project to indicate system status. It draws very little current and the sound is clear without being ear-piercing.
Q: Is the volume adjustable on this module?
A: No, the volume is fixed at approximately 85dB. There is no onboard potentiometer for volume control.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, but ensure you connect it to a 3.3V pin since the Raspberry Pi GPIO is not 5V tolerant. The module supports 3.3V operation.
Q: Does this come with male header pins included?
A: The module typically comes with the pins separate in the bag to prevent damage during shipping, but they are included for you to solder on.
Q: What is the difference between this active buzzer and a passive one?
A: An active buzzer has an internal oscillator, so it produces a fixed tone when powered. A passive buzzer requires an external square wave signal to generate sound.
Q: Can this module be driven directly by a 5V Arduino pin?
