Great for student projects
We bought five of these for our environmental science class. They are durable enough to handle student handling and provide consistent data for our water quality experiments.

Reliable digital output
I am using the digital threshold feature to trigger a pump when water gets too cloudy. It switches cleanly without chatter. The only downside is the cable could be a bit longer for larger tanks.

Perfect for my hydroponics setup
This sensor works exactly as described. I integrated it with my Arduino to monitor water clarity in my nutrient tank. The analog readings are stable and the included code got me started immediately.

Works well but sensitive to bubbles
The sensor detects turbidity accurately, but I noticed it gives false highs if there are air bubbles near the probe. Make sure to install it where flow is steady and bubble-free.

Good value but needs calibration
The build quality is solid for the price. However, you definitely need to calibrate it against known samples if you want precise NTU values. For simple pass/fail turbidity checks, it is excellent out of the box.

Easy integration with ESP32
Connected this to an ESP32 for an IoT water monitoring project. The voltage levels match perfectly, and the sensor responds quickly to changes in suspended particles. Highly recommended.
Q: Can this measure saltwater turbidity?
A: While the sensor can physically operate in saltwater, prolonged exposure may corrode the metal parts over time. We recommend rinsing the probe with fresh water after each use in saline environments.
Q: Does the package include the library for Arduino?
A: Yes, the product includes a link to download sample code and basic libraries compatible with Arduino IDE. You can find the QR code and URL in the included manual.
Q: What is the accuracy range in NTU?
A: This is a cost-effective sensor intended for relative measurements and trend monitoring rather than laboratory-grade precision. It provides reliable comparative data but should be calibrated for specific absolute NTU requirements.
Q: How do I clean the probe if it gets dirty?
A: Gently wipe the optical window of the probe with a soft, lint-free cloth soaked in mild soapy water or alcohol. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof for submersion?
A: The probe head is designed for submersion in liquids, but the electronic module board itself is not waterproof. Please ensure only the probe is submerged and the circuit board remains dry.
