Reliable capacitive switch
Used this to replace a mechanical button in a custom enclosure. It detects touch through a thin plastic layer perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

Compact and efficient
Small footprint makes it ideal for tight spaces in my robot design. The low power consumption is a huge plus for battery-operated devices.

Sensitive to noise
Works as described, but I had to add a capacitor to filter out some electrical noise in my specific circuit environment. Might be tricky for absolute beginners.

Good but needs calibration
The sensor works well once you understand how to set the self-locking vs momentary mode. Had to read the datasheet carefully, but performance is solid after setup.

Great for learning electronics
Bought a pack for my university project. Easy to wire up and the documentation online is plentiful. No issues with false triggers so far.

Perfect for DIY Projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity is adjustable via the solder pads, and it responds instantly to touch. Great value for the price.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic systems like ESP32?
A: Absolutely. The operating voltage range is 2.0V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: How do I switch between self-locking and momentary modes?
A: You need to solder or desolder specific test points on the back of the module labeled 'A' and 'B'. Please refer to the included pinout diagram for details.
Q: Can this module detect touch through glass?
A: Yes, it can detect touch through non-conductive materials like glass or plastic, provided the material is not too thick (typically under 5mm).
Q: What is the maximum current this output pin can source?
A: The direct output current is limited. It is recommended to use the module to drive a transistor or relay if you need to switch higher loads, as the max direct current is around 10mA.
Q: Does the package include connecting wires?
A: No, the package includes only the sensor module. You will need to solder your own header pins or wires for connection.
