Reliable and responsive
I've tested these behind a 3mm acrylic sheet, and they detect touch instantly. The low power consumption makes them ideal for battery-powered projects. Highly recommended for prototyping.

Good value, minor soldering needed
Great product for the price. You do need to solder the configuration pads to switch between momentary and self-locking modes, but the silkscreen labels make it clear. One channel was slightly less sensitive than the others, but still usable.

Great for learning embedded systems
Used these in a university project. Documentation online is plentiful which helped a lot. Deducting one star because the pin headers weren't included, had to source those separately.

Exactly as described
Ordered the 16-channel module for a large keypad project. All channels work independently without cross-talk. The form factor is compact enough to fit into tight enclosures.

Stable performance
No false triggers even in a noisy electrical environment. The capacitive sensing technology is robust. I replaced mechanical buttons in an old radio with these, and it looks modern and works better.

Perfect for my Arduino project
These modules are incredibly easy to integrate. I used the 4-channel version for a custom control panel, and the sensitivity is adjustable via the onboard pads. Works flawlessly with 3.3V and 5V logic.
Q: Do you offer bulk discounts for educational institutions?
A: Yes, we offer special pricing for schools and universities purchasing in large quantities. Please contact our sales department directly through the 'Contact Us' page with your requirements for a custom quote.
Q: Can this module work through glass or plastic?
A: Yes, the TTP series can detect touch through non-metallic materials like glass, plastic, or wood, provided the thickness does not exceed the sensing range (typically up to 5mm).
Q: How do I change the output from momentary to self-locking?
A: There are specific solder pads on the PCB labeled for configuration. By bridging the correct pads with a small amount of solder, you can toggle between momentary and self-locking modes. Please refer to the datasheet diagram for your specific channel count.
Q: What is the maximum current these modules can switch directly?
A: These are sensor modules designed to provide a logic signal, not to drive high-power loads directly. The output current is low (typically around 2-4mA). You should use a transistor, MOSFET, or relay to control higher current devices based on the sensor's signal.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins?
A: Absolutely. Since the output is digital TTL, it is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. Just ensure you connect the VCC to either 3.3V or 5V depending on your Pi model and wiring setup.
