Solid everyday option
Simple, reliable, and easy to integrate with my existing setup.
Q: Is there a digital output version available?
A: This specific model provides an analog voltage output proportional to TDS levels. You need to use the ADC on your microcontroller to read the value. We do not currently stock a UART/I2C digital version of this exact module.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V ESP32 directly?
A: Yes, the module operates within the 3.3V to 5.5V range, so it is fully compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers like the ESP32 without needing a logic level converter.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof or just the probe?
A: Only the probe tip is designed for submersion in liquid. The PCB board and electronics are not waterproof and should be kept dry or housed in a protective enclosure.
Q: Does this come with calibration powder or solution?
A: No, the module is sold without calibration solutions. We recommend purchasing standard TDS calibration solutions (e.g., 342ppm or 1413ppm) separately for accurate results.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of the probe?
A: Under normal usage conditions and regular cleaning, the titanium alloy probe typically lasts 1 to 2 years. Avoid touching the probe surface with bare hands to extend its life.
