Good value but needs calibration
Works well out of the box, but you definitely need to calibrate it with a known solution for accurate readings. The titanium probe feels durable.

Solid hardware, decent docs
The sensor module itself is high quality. The documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding the conversion formula, but the code comments help.

Reliable water quality monitoring
I have been running this in my aquarium for two weeks now. The readings are consistent and match my handheld tester within a small margin of error.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 9V battery?
A: No, the operating voltage is 3.3V to 5V. Connecting it directly to a 9V battery may damage the module. Please use a voltage regulator or a 5V power source.
Q: How often does the probe need calibration?
A: We recommend calibrating the sensor every 2-4 weeks depending on usage frequency and water conditions to maintain high accuracy.
Q: Is the source code compatible with Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, the provided source code is written in C and can be easily compiled and uploaded using the Arduino IDE for AVR boards, as well as adapted for STM32 and 8051 environments.
Q: Does this measure pH levels as well?
A: No, this module specifically measures Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). For pH measurement, you would need a separate pH sensor module.
Q: What is the maximum depth the probe can be submerged?
A: The probe is designed for immersion up to 10cm. Please ensure the electronic module board itself remains dry and above the water line.
