Good hardware, needs calibration
The build quality is solid and the titanium probe feels durable. Just remember that you must calibrate it using standard solutions before getting accurate ppm readings. Instructions could be clearer.

Reliable for aquarium monitoring

Q: Can I use this directly with a 5V Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: While the module operates at 5V, the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins are 3.3V logic. You should use a voltage divider or an ADC hat to safely read the analog signal without damaging the Pi.
Q: Is there a library available for ESP32?
A: Yes, several open-source libraries are available on GitHub that support this generic analog TDS sensor. You can adapt most standard TDS Arduino libraries for the ESP32 platform.
Q: Does this module come with the calibration powder?
A: No, the module includes the sensor probe and circuit board only. Calibration solutions or powders must be purchased separately to ensure accurate ppm readings.
Q: How often does the sensor need recalibration?
A: For best accuracy, we recommend recalibrating every 2-4 weeks depending on usage frequency and water conditions. If the sensor is used in harsh environments, more frequent calibration may be necessary.
Q: What is the maximum depth the probe can be submerged?
A: The titanium probe itself is waterproof and can be fully submerged. However, please ensure the PCB board and the connector junction remain dry and above the water line.
