Works great after calibration
Out of the box, the bias was a bit high, but after running a standard calibration routine, the noise levels were very low. Just remember to calibrate any 6-axis sensor before final deployment.

Reliable for batch production
We ordered fifty units for our educational robot kits. Every single module passed our initial calibration tests. It's reassuring to have a reliable domestic supply chain component that performs this well.

Perfect drop-in replacement
I needed a domestic alternative to the MPU6050 for a project, and this Silan module worked flawlessly. The pinout is identical, and the library code I was using required zero changes. Great stability in flight tests.

Good value, solid performance
The sensor reads data accurately and connects easily via I2C. It runs slightly warmer than my old MPU6050s, but nothing concerning. For the price, it's an excellent choice for hobbyist robotics.

Seamless integration with Arduino
Uploaded the standard MPU6050 example sketch, and it immediately started outputting correct gyro and accel data. The build quality of the PCB looks robust. Highly recommended for students and makers.
Q: Is there a digital motion processor (DMP) available for this chip?
A: While the hardware supports motion processing, official DMP firmware libraries specific to the SC7U22 are less common than for the MPU6050. Most users rely on raw data fusion algorithms like Mahony or Madgwick filters.
Q: Can this operate at 5V logic levels directly?
A: The module includes an onboard voltage regulator and level shifting, so it can safely interface with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Does this come with headers soldered?
A: No, the module is shipped without headers to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder your own male or female headers.
Q: What is the default I2C address for this sensor?
A: The default I2C address is 0x68. If the AD0 pin is pulled high, the address changes to 0x69, just like the standard MPU6050.
Q: Is this module compatible with libraries written for the MPU6050?
A: Yes, the SC7U22 is designed to be register-compatible with the MPU6050. Most standard Arduino and Python libraries should work without modification.
