Great sensor, small footprint
The module works great, but the pins are a bit close together if you aren't used to soldering SMD components. Once connected, the data output is clean and fast. Good value for the price compared to other brands.

Perfect for Home Automation Projects
I used the SHT31 variant for my smart greenhouse controller. The I2C communication was plug-and-play with my Arduino Uno. The humidity readings are consistent and match my standalone hygrometer perfectly. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts.

Solid performance
Using these in a server room monitoring setup. They have been running 24/7 for three months without drift. Only giving 4 stars because the breakout board could have mounting holes, but otherwise excellent.

Reliable and Accurate

Easy to use for beginners
Found plenty of libraries online for this sensor. Got it working with my ESP32 in under 10 minutes. The documentation provided by the manufacturer is clear regarding the register addresses.

Industry Standard Quality
Switched from an older capacitive sensor to this SHT41 model. The difference in response time and accuracy is night and day. It handles high humidity environments without condensation issues so far.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for I2C with this sensor?
A: For standard I2C speeds (100kHz or 400kHz), we recommend keeping cable lengths under 30cm to 50cm to prevent signal degradation. For longer distances, consider using an I2C extender or buffer.
Q: Does this module come with pull-up resistors for the I2C lines?
A: Yes, most breakout versions of this module include onboard 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors for both SDA and SCL lines, making them ready to connect directly to microcontrollers.
Q: Is there a difference in code between SHT20 and SHT30 models?
A: Generally, no. Most standard libraries support the entire SHT3x and SHT2x family using similar command sets. However, always check the specific datasheet for your exact model variant to ensure register compatibility.
Q: What is the default I2C address for the SHT30?
A: The default I2C address is typically 0x44. However, some modules allow you to change the address to 0x45 by bridging a specific pad on the PCB, allowing two sensors on the same bus.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors in direct rain?
