Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. It's a bit pricey compared to buying raw LEDs, but the convenience of the Grove connector saves a lot of time during prototyping.

Plug and play simplicity
I was able to get this blinking within minutes of unboxing. The documentation on the wiki is helpful for writing the first sketch.

Great quality, standard brightness
Solid build quality as expected from Seeed Studio. It works flawlessly with our education kits. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cable could be slightly longer.
Q: Can I control the brightness of this LED?
A: Yes, by connecting it to a PWM-capable digital pin on your microcontroller, you can use analogWrite to adjust the brightness levels.
Q: Does this package include the connecting cable?
A: Yes, every Grove module comes with one standard 4-pin Grove cable included in the box.
Q: Is soldering required to use this sensor?
A: No soldering is required if you are using a Grove Base Shield or a compatible breakout board. You simply plug the cable into the digital port.
Q: What is the maximum current this LED can handle?
A: The module is designed to operate safely at around 20mA. Exceeding this significantly may reduce the lifespan of the LED.
Q: Can this module be used directly with a 5V Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, the Grove Red LED module operates comfortably within the 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with the Arduino Uno.
