High precision as advertised
I needed a reliable probe for a pharmaceutical storage room. This sensor provides consistent readings and the stainless steel probe feels very durable. Installation was straightforward with standard twisted pair cable.

Solid industrial sensor
Great accuracy and the waterproof housing holds up well in our humid greenhouse environment. The only minor issue was that the documentation for the Modbus register map was a bit brief, but support helped us out quickly.

Robust and accurate

Reliable for outdoor use
Using this outside to monitor ambient conditions for an agricultural project. It has survived heavy rain and direct sun without any drift in readings. Would give 5 stars if the cable was slightly longer by default.
Q: Does this sensor support multiple drop connections on the same RS485 bus?
A: Yes, this device supports multi-drop networking. You can connect up to 32 devices on a single RS485 bus by assigning unique Modbus addresses to each unit.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for stable communication?
A: For reliable RS485 communication at standard baud rates (9600bps), you can extend the cable up to 1200 meters. We recommend using shielded twisted pair cable for best noise immunity.
Q: Do you provide a library for Arduino or Raspberry Pi integration?
A: While we do not host official libraries, the device uses standard Modbus RTU protocol. Many open-source Modbus libraries for Arduino and Python (for Raspberry Pi) are fully compatible with our registers.
Q: Can this operate on a 5V power supply?
A: No, the operating voltage range is strictly 12V DC to 24V DC. Using a 5V supply will not provide enough power for the sensor to function correctly.
Q: Is the probe interchangeable if it gets damaged?
A: The probe is integrated into the transmitter module for better sealing and accuracy. If the probe is damaged, the entire unit typically needs replacement to maintain the IP65 rating and calibration.
