Good module, clear instructions needed
The hardware quality is solid and the LEDs make debugging easy. I deducted one star because there were no printed instructions included, but I found plenty of examples online for the SW-18010P.

Works well for alarm systems
Using this to detect unauthorized movement on a display case. It triggers reliably. Just ensure you have a stable power supply, as voltage fluctuations can affect the threshold.

Reliable vibration detection

Perfect for my Arduino security project
This sensor works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment is very responsive, allowing me to fine-tune it so it doesn't trigger from minor background noise but catches actual bumps. Great value for the price.

Excellent starter sensor
If you are new to electronics, this is a great component to start with. It requires minimal coding to get working and provides immediate visual feedback with the onboard LEDs.
Q: What is the current consumption of this module?
A: The module typically consumes less than 5mA during operation. The standby current is even lower, making it suitable for battery-powered projects with sleep modes.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (detect smaller vibrations) and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Use a small screwdriver for adjustment.
Q: Does this module work with 3.3V logic levels like the ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates within a 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers including ESP32, Arduino Uno, and Raspberry Pi.
