Great for learning electronics
Bought this for a university project on IoT home automation. The digital output makes it incredibly simple to read data without complex analog conversion code. Highly recommended for beginners.

Perfect for my weather station project
This sensor module works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment is very responsive, allowing me to calibrate it for light drizzle versus heavy rain. Easy to interface with my Arduino.

Reliable water detection
I used this to detect leaks under my sink. It triggers the relay instantly when water touches the board. The separate PCB design allows me to place the sensor remotely from the control circuit.

Works well, needs enclosure
The sensor itself is fantastic, but remember you need to 3D print or buy an enclosure if using it outdoors long-term, as the components are exposed. Functionality is top-notch though.

Good value, sturdy build
The PCB looks well-made and the nickel plating on the sensing lines seems durable. I deducted one star because the included header pins were slightly bent, but nothing a quick fix couldn't solve.

Excellent sensitivity range
The potentiometer gives a wide range of adjustment. I can set it to ignore humidity but trigger on actual water droplets. Very satisfied with this purchase for my smart garden system.

Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, you can connect the digital output pin to a GPIO pin on the Raspberry Pi. Just ensure you are referencing the 5V logic levels correctly, as some Pi models prefer 3.3V logic; a voltage divider may be needed for the signal line.
Q: What is the response time when water is detected?
